Handcrafted Animation at Scale
Produced in 1999 by a multidisciplinary team of 25 artists and technicians, the project represented a significant undertaking in pre-digital animation workflows. Every character frame was manually illustrated on paper before being scanned, traced, digitally coloured, and composited into final scenes.
