DESCRIPTION: Indian wines have evolved and is now accepted world over. Wine festivals and wine tourism, are now taking a life of their own. Every year during the grape harvest, the tryst with Pause Wines is something you will always remember.

Pause Vineyards, a popular destination among grape and wine lovers, is located at Dindori in Nashik, the wine capital of India is spread across 100 acres.Wine lovers and celebrities flock from Mumbai, Pune, Nashik and other cities.

The tour begins early in the morning, 45 minute tour into the vineyard. Experience harvest of the original, large French grape varietals Chenin, Sauvignon, Shiraz and Tempranillo among many others.

The guests then move to the winery and to witness the contemporary yet classic manufacturing process of different varieties of grape wine. In the evening, participate in an exciting Grape Stomping ritual, a centuries old classic festival of Europe.

At the onset of dawn get engrossed in tasting different varieties wines with choicest food that pair with the right wine. For instance, Pause Cabernet Sauvignon - The deep red colour wine with a fruity nose of blackcurrant & berries, has a rich currant flavour. Enjoy this wine with lamb dishes, tandoor or mildly spiced curries.
